The Seasons of Life:
The Spirituality of Autumn

The writer of Ecclesiastes tells us “There is a time for everything, a season for every activity under heaven.” The seasons provide us with a reminder of the constant transformation and recreation at work in nature and in us. In this class we will experience autumn through the lenses of the various world’s religious traditions, festivals, and spiritual practices. Come and explore the spirituality of autumn through Daoist Five Element Theory and qigong, Jewish teshuvah as returning to the path, celebrating the harvest and abundance, and remembrance of life’s fragility and letting go.

Yanchy Lacska PRESENTER: Yanchy Lacska, EdS, spent the first part of his career as a teacher and then a psychologist in St. Paul.
